OUR NSS CELL OF INE, SME, CPAS , CHUTTIPARA, PATHANAMTHITTA CONDUCTED A SEVEN DAYS SPECIAL RESIDENTIAL CAMPING PROGRAMME FROM 16/01/2023- 22/01/2023. The theme of NSS for current year is “DRUG FREE KERALA”

The selected area of our Planned camp is Panamthoppu area, Kumbazha , Ward 18 of Pathanamtitta Municipality. This area is our adopted area for our NSS activities sanctioned from Pathanamthitta Minicipality as per order No. H1-6975/2022 dtd 30.05.2022. ‘Panamthoppu’ formerly known as Panamthoppu colony, consisting of 35 houses and the families belonging to Scheduled Tribal (ST) category demand a new initiative creating a holistic environment for the growth and development of community.

On 11/01/2023, the advisory board members reached the area ; we got a vivid picture of the planned area, ‘Panamthoppu’ from Mrs.Suja Aji, respective ward counsellor. An initial familiarization and concern from the family members were also considered. In accordance with these findings, the proposed camp was decided to commence for a period of one week from 16/01/2023 onwards.

Pre camp welcoming was arranged on 14/01/2023 at 3 pm in KPMS Hall, Panamthoppu. Mrs.Suja Aji , respective ward counsellor, Mr.Madhu, KPMS Secretary along with the NSS programme officer and NSS student volunteer representatives were present on the day.

Our daily activities and scheduled classes are arranged in KPMS Hall during the period of camp.
